Rain, rain, rain...

It's raining AGAIN today.

A few weeks ago I saw this adorable red and white gingham umbrella with eyelet lace trim and just HAD to have one!!

It was in Country Living magazine, and they said to go to http://www.totes-isotoner.com/. But alas, they were sold out!! WAH!

I didn't give up, and found them on Amazon. They even come in PINK!

Too cute! I'd love to have a pretty gingham umbrella--mine is just boring, basic black.

Hey Nikki!
Girl, for starters....I love love your new background and top header, It's precious! I love the music too! (Am I using "love" too much?!, well, I can't help it! LOL!) The umbrella is an adorable find...I am glad that Amazon had one you could get. Thank you so much for stopping over and seeing the kitchen and for your sweet comments too. I really appreciate the advice on the barstools too. I've been gonna paint those things for forever and a day and still haven't. I'm thinking what you said would really look great! A glaze would really make the carved design show up too. Do you know a specific technique to glazing? Colors to use ect. Does it have to be sealed over since we'd be sitting in the chairs? I would use the white that the trim is done in as the base color, but which glaze? Mocha? Let me know if you have any ideas on that, when you stop over next time okay? I've never glazed anything...but I've seen it done and I love the effect of it. I wonder if I could pull it off? TTYL,
Big Hugs,
Queenie
