BOO!

I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too!!

Wicked green eyes
I hope you all had a Happy Halloween!
Nova told me almost two months ago that he wanted to be a bat. So I got right on ebay and found this cute costume for only $10! It was a really chilly night, so it worked out perfectly.
HPIM2374
He loved his wings!
HPIM2364
It was also Nova's idea that I was to be a witch, and Daddy a ghost.
Cool.
Nice, cheap costume year!
HPIM2362
Oooooo, creeeepy!
HPIM2371
Glad I had this black vintage coat, I was cold! Had this nice hat to keep me warm too~
HPIM2360
My son is really into skeletons. It's kinda making us wonder about him! LOL! He begged for this guy from Walmart, but I'm totally creeped out because it's "his" size~
HPIM2395
I'm glad Nova shares my love for costuming! Unfortunately for him, he is just as anal about details as I am. He wanted me to look EXACTLY like the Wicked Witch of the West from Oz, and was NOT happy with my hat of choice. He kept showing me to pull my hair back like hers and that it should be black. Too funny!
HPIM2314
The witch was fun to do. I'd never used liquid latex before, cool stuff!!
HPIM2356
By the end of the night I couldn't stand it any longer tho... only because my nose was running inside the fake nose, LOL!
HPIM2354
All good things must come to an end....
AAAaaaaCHOOO!

I can't believe it's been a year since we were Captian Hook, Peter Pan, and Wendy! WHEW! The time is flying by!

Calling Dr. Nova. Maybe his fascination with skeletons will pay off in the future. He made the cutest bat but OMGosh, you made an awesome Wicked Witch of the West. Really the best costume I've seen this year. Hubby must be commended for the costume.

Have a super-great day!!!

Holy crap, you guys don't fool around with this stuff, do you? You were seriously ugly/scary looking! Nova's costume was way cool and wow, you didn't just throw a sheet over Kevin, did you? FUN!

How fun! You guys looked great! Where did you find that great hat? I adore it!

I know what you mean about the nose running. I dressed up as a witch one year and had a nose on and my nose was running the whole time.

Hey Nikki!
Girl, you scared me when I saw that first picture! LOL! I thought I might have had tooo much coffee this morning or either something was in the coffee... that wasn't supposed to be! LOL! Whew! Luckily, I quickly figured out that my eyes weren't playing tricks on me! LOL! You are so creative...I think you make a great witch and I mean that in the sweetest way. Amazing that you made that nose! Noah looks so cute too, and I love the ghost costume hubby wore too....I bet you all had such a fun time! Thanks for sharing your fun with us!
Thanks so much for coming over and seeing what my latest passion has become, and thanks for all you said too....I did check out that tutorial and those donuts are too cute and so are the other little desserts. I am hoping to learn to make some lifesize fake cupcakes...and I'm gonna give the joint compound over styrofoam a try....I'll definately let you know how that turns out, whenever I get some done. Joint compound is about $2.78 for a small tub, and a large tub is a little over $5.00. I hope it will work for icing! I've seen it done with that, someplace out there in blogland...just can't remember where.
I hope you have a great week...you sure have made my morning fun! You should have seen my face before I figured out my coffee wasn't messin' with me! LOL!

Nikki,
What cute costumes! Nova is adorable as a bat and your hubby as a ghost as well. Your witch costume is really scary! That nose would have really bugged me! Even with the ugly nose, you were still a pretty witch!

Lee Laurie
