Thank you~

Hello Blogland friends~
It has been a very trying 6 months for me here at The Scarlett Rose Garden. Many things have happened in my life and I have chosen not to broadcast any of it here.
My stress level is very high, and something else happened Monday to top it off.
Last night I came home to find these gorgeous gladiolus from my wonderful husband Kevin~
And a beautiful berry tart~
Click on it... it WAS as good as it looks!
Thank you SO much Kevin. I am so lucky to have you in my life. I appreciate your understanding and being there for me in good times and bad.
I love you!

And thank you, my blogging friends for being "out there". Blogging has helped to keep my mind off of things and I enjoy your company!

I hope things simmer down around here and I can spend more time in blogland.
"This too shall pass."
Hugs to all!

It's so nice when husbands do little things like that to keep us afloat isn't it? The flowers are gorgeous and the tart looks divine!!!

What a wonderful husband indeed! I've been going through alot myself lately - seems to be going around blogland from what I can see. Some very private stuff so I totally understand. It will get better. Go check out my blog for my latest post on my latest curbside rescue. Yes, somebody threw that out!

Nikki, my sweet blogging friend, I do hope everything causing you stress will be relieved soon. I understand how stress can take over. After Dales surgery and complications if I had not been hand quilting I would have gone nuts. Keeping the grandchildren helped to distract me from worrying, but in the quiet moments lots of prayer went into every stitch. I will be praying for you.
You have been such a major factor in my blog world and your GWTW Ball gave me another way to connect with my Mother, thank you for that.

Hi Nikki sweetie!
I am so sorry to hear that you have been having some stress in your life of late. Hope things clam down for you soon, and that things get back to normal. In the meantime, you have a wonderful DH who loves you, and it appears he spoils you a little. Love the flowers and the little tart look so devine. He's a keeper sweetie. Thanks for sharing. Nikki,
I'm so sorry to hear that you have been so stressed. Be careful because I never believed it before but stress can make you sick. I always use to think how strong I was and how I could handle anything. But stress will take it's toll if you don't try to get a handle on it. I know that for a fact. I've been going through a lot of personal things for the past four years and I never post about it. Blogging has really become my way of escaping. My grandma always use to say that same thing...'This too shall pass' and 'Time heals all things'. I just have to remind myself...daily! What your husband did for you brought tears to my eyes. He sounds like a sweetheart.

Take care,
Hugs,
Lee Laurie

Hi Nikki

Sorry you have been feeling so stressed recently. I've had my own pile too and your right, blogging is a wonderous escape. You have yourself a wonderful husband it appears, and what a blessing that really is. I LOVE gladiolus and your's are especially pretty. What a sweet thing for him to do. The tart does look like it was yummy....There is nothing quite as true as..."This too shall pass." My mom still says it to me to this day, and I say it to all my kids as well. Hang in there...Blessings to you, Debbie
