What's better than getting a new dishwasher?

Why, watching your kid play in the box of course! He had a blast~

BOO!
He's all set inside with his milk and peanut butter crackers, and pal Melly.

Ha, I think he looks like a coo-coo bird here!

By day two, he was all moved in. Furniture and a ton of toys. Looks like he's gonna stay for a while! This little wicker chair was mine as a child. Trying to decide if I wanna paint it~

Just chillin' here, he can even see the TV through the *window*. You know what they say, location-location-location!

Next the box became his hideout as he played cowboys and indians. He's definitely my kid cuz' he loves to be in costume!

And one last look, as it's about time for the box to go...

Love the pictures!
Large boxes were always my favorite toys too, when I was a kid.
I bet your son was sad to see the box go.

Is he adorable or what?!? I remember a neighbor buying a washer, dryer and fridge once when I was a kid. Those boxes were divine! We even made curtains for our cut-out "windows". ;)

He is so cute!! I guess he takes after you~ dress up and decorating!! Looks like something my boys would have done. My baby Jake used to walk around in a diaper and bright yellow water boots and a big belly! He wore those water boots everywhere!

The color of the table is cool aqua by Valspar and the color inside the hutch is robins egg blue which I used a craft paint(the ones in the little bottle) from Michaels craft store because I can't find robins egg paint anywhere. Thanks for the sweet comments! Happy fourth!

A.dor.a.ble.!!! I loved making box houses and tents from cushions and spreads when I was little. Great rainy day savers for exhausted moms, too ;-)

This was the most darling post! He looks like he is having so much fun. Love how the kitty made herself right at home too! I remember playing in boxes when I was little too. So much fun!

So did he cry when it was time for the box to go away?
